I had a solid stay at Hyatt Place Kyoto. The location is fantastic, being right next to a subway station, which made getting around super easy. The breakfast options blew me away with both Western and Japanese styles. However, my room was on the smaller side and faced a residential building, limiting the light quite a bit.
